Automatic learning of the steering angle sensor must be performed when replacing the control unit or if other works, that could affect the calibration position, has been performed. This function is used to calibrate the steering angle sensor.
The front wheels must stand straight ahead to ensure correct calibration.
Test conditions:
Ignition on.
Autovehicul oprit pe sol nivelat.
The steering wheel stands straight and the front wheels point straight forward.
Procedure:
Start the function.
Follow the instructions.
To complete the calibration, it is required that the vehicle is driven on a relatively straight road for about 5 km.
Start the engine and drive the vehicle on the road until the ESP warning, in the instrument, turns off.
The function is done.
