This function is used to calibrate the vehicle's level sensors.
Note:
Calibration of the level sensor should be performed when:
Any of the level sensors have been changed.
Work has been performed on the level sensor.
The control unit has been changed.
Calibration of the front level sensor can be performed in two different ways:
Alternative 1: Reduce the front suspension height, using the buttons, as far as possible until the axle rests on the impact rubber.
Alternative 2: Read out the tower height and adjust the front suspension height by using the buttons. Install the calibration towers. Reduce the front suspension until the frame rests on the spacers.
Calibration of the rear level sensors can only be performed in one way:
Read out the tower height and adjust the rear suspension height by using the buttons. Install the calibration towers. Reduce the rear suspension height until the frame rests on the spacers.
Test conditions:
The primary tank pressure must exceed 8bar.
The parking brake must be released.
The wheels must be blocked.
Ensure that there is no-one under the vehicle.
The vehicle must be unloaded.
Extra axles (if fitted) must be raised.
Procedure:
Start the function.
A dialogue box is shown, Press "OK".
The calibration is initiated.
Choose the axle to be raised or lowered.
Press "OK" to continue.
Calibration is performed.
The function is complete.
If the function fails, check the test conditions and repair any faults.
