This function is used to calibrate the radar for the distance control.
Preparatory work that's required before the calibration, refer to the original information through:

Note:
To perform the calibration a special tool kit VAS-6430 and VAS-6041/2 or similar is required.
The calibration requires, by VAG approved, wheel alignment rig.
Calibration should be performed when:
The locking beam has been removed and installed.
The ADR sensor -G550- has been removed and installed.
Toe-in and/or camber of the rear axle has been set at the wheel alignment control.
The locking beam is set in service mode.
Test conditions:
Ignition on, engine off.
Wheel alignment control or the skew compensation must have been done.
Target value for tire pressure and height position, must have been verified.
Adjustment jig -VAS 6430- and tenet -VAS 6430/1.
Calibration board -VAS 6041/2.
Wheel measurement equipment.
Distance from the radar unit to the calibration board must be 1145 mm ± 5mm .
Procedure:
Prepare the vehicle on the wheel alignment rig according to the original information.
Start the function and follow the instructions in the program.
If the radar needs to be calibrated, adjust the calibration screws according to the values in the function (Screw 1, bottom left corner. Screw 2, upper right corner. Screw 3, bottom right corner must NOT be operated).
If the function fails, check the test conditions and repair any faults.
