Rear view camera calibration
This function is used to calibrate the area view camera system.
Preparatory work that's required before the calibration, refer to the original information through:

Note:
To perform the calibration a special tool kit VAS 721 001 or similar is required.
There must not be any light reflections on the calibration board.
Calibration should be performed when:
"No or incorrect basic setting/adaptation" is stored in the fault memory.
The area view camera control unit has been replaced.
The rear view camera has been removed and installed.
Repairs of components where a camera is mounted has been performed.
After changing the height position on an axle with more than 5 mm.
After changing the height position on the entire vehicle with more than 10 mm.
Ensure that the illumination on the calibration board is very good.
Test conditions:
Camera lenses must be clean, only clean the camera lenses with a damp cloth.
Calibration tool VAS 721 001.
Both exterior mirrors must be fold out.
All doors and the tailgate are closed.
No one should be in the car.
The vehicle must be unloaded (empty weight).
The steering wheel in zero position, the wheels facing forward.
Battery charger connected.
The system is active.
Procedure:
Roll out the calibration device's -VAS 721 001- calibration pattern on the calibration surface.
