Multifunction camera calibration
To perform the calibration, a calibration board from KIA/Hyundai with part number: 09890-3V100 must be used.
This function is used to calibrate the multifunction camera in the windshield.
The function may need to be performed after the following repairs or events:
The vehicle has been involved in a crash that has affected the chassis and the body.
After changing the windshield.
The control unit for LDWS system has been replaced.
Work has been done on the camera (LDWS) attachment.
If the multifunction camera isn't calibrated, a warning message will be shown in the instrument.
A fault code is stored in the fault memory if the calibration is canceled or not approved.
Position the car on a flat and level surface.
Tires pointed straight ahead.
Windshield clean and undamaged in the area for the optic unit.
The camera field of view must be clear.
Battery voltage min 12 V.
The room must be well lit to perform the calibration.
When needed, use a bright light to illuminate the calibration jig.
Place the calibration help according to the picture and text below:
Position the calibration board 10 cm in front of the vehicle's bumper in the centre, see picture.
Raise the board 90 cm from the floor (from the lower edge of the board), see picture.
The board must be adjusted so that the control eye is correctly adjusted, see picture.
Start the function when the test conditions are fulfilled.
The calibration is performed and the result is presented.
If the function fails, check the test conditions and repair any faults.
