Calibration of sensor forward-facing radar
This function is used to calibrate the sensor for the forward-facing radar.
The function may need to be performed after:
The sensor has been replaced.
The sensor position has been changed.
Fault code stored, which indicates that a calibration must be performed.
Note:
If the sensor for the forward-facing radar is not calibrated, a warning message is displayed in the instrument.
Test conditions:
Engine running.
To complete the calibration, it is required that the vehicle is driven in traffic. Expected driving time is 10-30 minutes.
The diagnostic tool must be connected during the entire calibration process. Also during driving.
Procedure:
Start the function when the test conditions are fulfilled.
Start the function and follow the instructions in the program.
The calibration starts automatically.
To complete the calibration, it is required that the vehicle is driven in traffic. Expected driving time is 10-30 minutes.
Constant speed or gentle acceleration.
Speed above 25 km/h.
The road must be dry and relatively straight with high traffic.
The diagnostic tool monitors the calibration until it is completed.
The Forward Collision Warning (FCW) button is illuminated if the calibration succeded.
If the function fails, check the test conditions and repair any faults.
