Calibration of level sensor must be performed when:
The control unit has been replaced.
Work has been carried out on the level sensor, or it has been replaced.
Calibration is incorrect.
The correct calibration settings and load are indicated in the Renault repair manual.
If the ride height is calibrated outside the permitted tolerance range, the vehicle will not attain the ride height and a trouble code will appear in the system. Recalibration must then be performed.
Calibration is performed in 3 steps.
Note:
The vehicle will move up and down when the air suspension is calibrated. It is therefore extremely important that no persons or equipment remain in the area around or underneath the vehicle, to prevent damage or injury.
Test conditions:
Ignition on with external air supply connected, or engine running.
Vehicle loaded in accordance with the Renault repair manual.
The vehicle must be on level ground.
On vehicles with a lifting axle, this must be lowered.
No faults in the system.
Procedure:
Select the calibration function.
Set the normal level using the buttons and calibrate.
Set the "max" level using the buttons and calibrate.
Set the "min" level using the buttons and calibrate.
Exit the function.
Check the suspension system using the control panel.
